Headed to a chef friend’s dinner and it’s BYOB. Am a white wine guy, was thinking of doing a bottle of cava or brut and a Chardonnay or a sav blanc. Any advice on a rich or light white or if these are good picks at all? Cheers

    cava works perfect with those appetizers especially the shrimp dish, maybe go for something more mineral than chardonnay though since duck is pretty rich already
