No, it’s not ridiculous looking. This is all subjective . To me, it’s busy. I’d play around with the statement pieces on each shelf – the large decorative trays- and not have additional items in front of the trays. Too many things draw the eye.

Especially, if all those things have meaning to you, it is just perfect. If they don’t, then over time, replace them with things that do, that give a glimpse to your personality, where you have been, who gave it something to you or who you inherited it from, what you were doing when you found something, so you life story and so on. It’s great that you have such a great shelf to tell your story. You did a great job of arranging everything.

Looks like a nice personal collection. It’s a bit crowded so maybe you can rotate your pieces in and out once in a while to keep it fresh.
