I like the dark solid of the couch with the fun pattern of that chair. Not sure about that rug.

A navy pillow on the chair will help tie the furniture together. Love that rug.

I think the rug is too pastel-y. I would go for something with richer tones like your wall art and accessories have. That will help tie together everything nicely.

The issue is the rug and the chair. The chair is a very warm yellow, more of a camel color, while the rug’s yellows are cooler toned (closer to green) and the pastel tones don’t suit the richer palette of everything else.
Personally, I’d go with the chair and keep looking for a rug. Something with warmer and bolder colors. I feel like World Market has some good ones.
