Heading for dinner in Munich, and not overly-familiar with German whites. Wondering if anyone could give me a steer here (I’ll ask the wait staff there too when I get there, but good to have a couple in mind).

Full wine list here if anyone interested

Good producers. Can’t go wrong with most of these. Judging by the wine list there are competent people there, so I’d ask them. Sometimes they even have hidden gems not on the list, for the wine nerds.

Huber makes wonderful whites, worth trying. For natural wine that is actually phenomenal, check out Werlitsch Ex Vero II (Austrian wine).

My top recommendation from their list (relative to cost) would be any of Domaine Valette’s wines though. Insanely good and intense wines, somewhat reminiscent of top Jura. The restaurant priced them very cheap relative to demand. Not a German wine though.

Edit: Nevermind, they have Labet. Buy Labet. Just do it. En Chalasse or any cuvee like it. You won’t regret it. For me they are the best wines in the world that isn’t outrageously expensive. If you’re American it’s also something that’s very rare there and hard to get a hold of.

Great list. The Rings „Kreid” 2021 is the best white wine I had last year. Feel free to tell us what you like to drink usually and what you’re looking to spend.
