I grabbed one. Average price seems hard to beat…unless it’s really bottom rung bottles. Just getting into LB but seems like a safe bet?

By their own admission, the best web price for this would be $33 per bottle. They’re pricing it at $12 per bottle. Often times the ‘best web price’ can be beaten with further research , but at $12 it’s probably true that this is the best price this can be got for.
So, if you feel a wine that you could get for at-most $33 being more than half off is worth it, and you’re fine with having 12 of them sight unseen, then yes, technically this is a good deal.
For a lot of us, the great deals on LB are the rare ones that would normally be ~$150+ per bottle, but are going for ~$39.

I get these mystery cases often. You get a lot of stuff you see from day to day in the site. It’s always been a little better deal than what they see individual bottles for. Also they usually drop in one to two high end bottles that are fun surprises. This case is gonna go out for the summer parties and such.

At 12 dollars a bottle, you’ll at the very least have bottles to serve to friends and families on the patio, by the pool, who aren’t wine nerds.

You could probably get a feel for what wines might be in the case by searching Rose, etc at [www.firstbottlewines.com](http://www.firstbottlewines.com)

There’s a pretty real risk that the whites and Rose are many years from release. My view is that most of the time those are better, younger and fresher.

I saw it and bought one. I usually only do marathon but this was enticing enough.
