Making my husband’s Easter basket in my tiny Parisian kitchen! #paris #baking #cake #pastry #easter

The Easter basket I made for Mr Durose last year! Now sorry to say, but I’m not making one for him this year, I just simply ran out of time this year!😅 Is it just me or did Easter just sneak up on us this year!?

Honestly I’m a bit disappointed I didn’t have time to make another basket this year. Making cakes and pastries is my art form, & it truly fulfills me so much to make things like this. I know it probably sounds weird, but since I can remember, I’ve viewed the world through a pastry lense😂 I see fabric or a building etc, and I think how can I incorporate that texture or that design into pastry. So hopefully soon I’ll be able to make something like this!

I didn’t have time to plan an Easter basket this year, but I will posting our Easter meal on Monday!

Everything in this basket is handmade & 100% edible! Inside the brioche basket, covered in chocolate, is an orange blossom cake, elderflower curd, raspberry confiture, & a pistachio buttercream.

The bonbons are filled with a raspberry caramel ganache, the bunny is made with chocolate & chocolate modeling chocolate, the flowers are made of wafer paper, & the moss is made of cake.

Since I forgot to plan for an Easter basket to make this year, what kind of Easter basket should I make next year??

    Very good..though I don't believe in Easter bunny or cakes since it is a Resurrection day of my Lord Jesus Christ…this is a very good making of cakes
