This Cheesy French Toast is a wholesome and satisfying recipe that combines protein-rich eggs with calcium-packed cheese for a nutritious start to your day. Ingredients
• 2 slices of bread (white, brown, or brioche works best)
• 2 eggs
• 2–3 tablespoons milk
• Salt (a pinch)
• A pinch of white pepper
• A pinch of black pepper
• A pinch of cumin powder
• 1 slice cheese (cheddar or processed cheese)
• 1–2 tablespoons butter
• ½ tsp chili flakes
• Honey (for topping)
• Chopped coriander
Instructions
1. Prepare the egg mixture
• In a bowl, whisk together:
o Eggs
o Milk
o A pinch of salt
o Chili flakes
o A little black pepper (optional)
o Chopped coriander
2. Dip the bread
• Cut the sides of the bread.
• Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture.
• Make sure both sides are coated, but don’t soak too long.
3. First toast
• Heat a pan with a little butter.
• Toast both slices separately until lightly golden.
4. Add cheese
• Place a cheese slice on one toasted bread.
• Cover it with the second toasted bread (like a sandwich).
5. Second toast (melting step)

• Toast the sandwich again on low heat.
• Flip and press gently until:
o Cheese melts inside
o Outside becomes crispy and golden
6. Add honey
