  1. When my younger brother and I were kids I would pretend to be Julia and he was my helper. we would try to talk like her. I was 10 and he was about 8 years old. We had such fun even though we never made no real food. 😂😂😂😂😂

  2. I'm grateful for the tip on croquet. I often have the urge to go out and play in the middle of cake baking. 🌷

  3. I have read somewhere that once in the middle of a show where everybody had had a little too much champagne she said Let’s just throw this shit together 😂. Not at all the time and era to say that! I would love to see her do it 😂

  4. I have learned that the best chocolate to use for baking a chocolate cake is cocoa powder. Chocolate liquor becomes too diluted once it's incorporated into the batter. Use the chocolate liquor for the delicious filling and frosting.

  5. I try to be a good girl and listen to Julia and get all my ingredients and all my equipment when I'm either baking or cooking.
