  1. No one tells you or shows you how many trials and errors it takes for things to come out how you want. It is refreshing to see real people with real outcomes. It is sad that only in the old videos do we see real life situations anymore. I love her explanation and resolution to overcome adversity in the kitchen nothing is perfect and it adds character and authenticity to genuine home cooking. Beautiful soul. We truly have taken our elders for granted. If you have grandparents still alive, please for the love of god learn everything you can to pass down to your children before it’s too late. Faith in humanity.

  2. Just get the glaze on fast…the dome is getting deeper?! 😅 she was so humble❤

  3. Interesting how thin she is considering the food she makes/eats. But back then it was real unadulterated food

  4. Julia was one of a kind. There hasn't been or ever will be another Julia Child. She saved the show no matter the outcome 💜

  5. She's like ok, well, screw it, its still going to be good. Never let them see you sweat was her motto. I learned so much from her.

  6. "I wouldn't like it straight up & down because it would look rigid" 😳
I just love to rewatch Julia Child 😂

  7. She was awesome.
Crazy to think just how bland food looked on black and white TV back in the day. 😅

It was great when we got our 19 inch color TV from KMart…LOL

  8. Huh. I can't get over the impression that it's Julia Child pretending to be Meryl Streep pretending to be Julia Child.

  9. I think that's why everybody liked her. Her shit didn't always come out perfect because she quite literally cooked in front of the camera.

  10. This is the second short of Julia Child I've seen; both flops and she is so cool as a cucumber, just going with the flow. Cool lady 😎 ♥️ 👌
