RHONE RIVER CRUISE with Riverside Luxury Cruises | Avignon to Lyon Aboard Riverside Ravel

We embarked on a Rhone River Cruise with Riverside Luxury Cruises, sailing from Avignon to Lyon, France. Our ship was the beautiful Riverside Ravel.

This is one of the most luxurious river cruises of France. The sailing is called French Salut: Avignon to Lyon. It’s an 8-day sailing on the Rhone River and the Saone River.

This vlog covers our entire river cruise experience. We’ll show you our spacious cabin and the public areas of the cruise, as well as the food and wine tastings.

We’ll also go into detail about every destination and port we visited, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Viviers, Tain l’Hermitage, Lyon, Macon, and Chalon-sur-Saone.

We also took a few excursions, including a wine tasting at Maison Bouachon, a hike at the Ardeche Gorge, a walking tour of Perouges, a truffle tour at Le Cos-Piguet Gourmet Bio, and an e-bike tour through the vineyards in Burgundy.

The two of us also extended our stay in France following the cruise. We visited Cheval’s Ideal Palace and stayed in Annecy for two nights, including a day trip to Gorges du Fier.
