Catholicism seems to be Christianity but it is most definitely not! You dont have to go through all those middle men to talk to/have a relationship with Jesus!" Come unto thee" is pretty clear. Shouldn't be praying to Saints that have been appointed to different sins and issues. Thats worshipping false idols! Not to mention the way they worship Marry and the fact that you have to talk to a ( in WAY too many cases) pedophile " priest " to confess your sins and then usually tells you to do some random reading and or a prayer to recite which always includes the hail Mary prayer. The entire structure of Catholicism is a deliberate obstacle to keep people from having a genuine relationship with Jesus the way it was intended! Catholics don't worship Jesus, they are working for someone else known as Satan! He's intricately woven throughout that entire religion and it's terrifying because of its size and real power. God help us all 🙏!

Shawn, I hope you can shed some light please. I'm new to Christianity and I don't understand how there can be so many denominations. Orthodox is the original church so how can any other denomination exist and still fall under Christianity?
This question is not intended to be malicious, it's just extremely confusing for someone new to Christianity.

The fact is, the original catholic church was founded by jews. They operated in the most horrendous spaces, catacombs! So they wanted to spruce up the place to honor God and be elevated in spirit (inspirationally), so? Further, a really ornate space was the Jewish tradition. Both temples were decorated very elaborately. I didn't read that Jesus, who was familiar with the temple, had a beef with that. He was angry at money changers, not the decor. After all, I'm sure he wouldn't have preferred a crappy hole in a strip mall! 😂

There's a beauty to the mindfulness of nurturing and contemplating a "relic." Yes, it's corruptible, but that's because it's all very much real.
Shawn is still coming to terms with his faith. He is still a skeptic and that’s ok, keeps him searching and that’s to be in the best realms! I think Shawn has deep issues with his Catholic upbringing and should come to terms with this before he can move on. I am Catholic and I know how to separate man and his possible evil intervention and the Church, the scriptures and if he is bothered by relics, it’s more that the object that bothers him. Shawn please clean up the language.

If Constantine truly was a believer, why didn't he put any Christian symbology on the archway he had built after the Battle of milvian? It's full of pagan gods.

Was Wes in charge of the tours of the Vatican around 2013. I swear he was my tour guide and he was fabulous. I mean outstanding he would literally take me out of one painting and put me into another painting as he guided. Phenomenal.
