Knowing you genotype before marriage is good but things happen like is genetic mutation.. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a sickler. The same God made us. We're humans too. People give birth to ss children, knowingly and unknowingly. Either way if it happens, it's not the end of the world.
I thank God for my healing and the experiences I had. It made me stronger than ever.
If you're a sickle cell patients reading this, there's absolutely nothing you can't do. The crisis, the excruciating pain, the physical appearance etc Is all for His glory. Hold on to God Make Philippians 4:13 your mantra I can do all this through Him who gives me strength. This disability is not a liability but rather a platform for His name to be glorified
This is absolutely a masterpiece. I love the fact that the movie ended the way it did. Sickle Cell is no joke and people who know their genotype aren’t compatible shouldn’t risk the future of their kids in the name of “God will change or genotype or love will conquer all” because sometimes just as in the movie it doesn’t and the risk is too high and shouldn’t be taken. They worst are those who doesn’t even know their genotype in the 21st century. Anyone who brings a child with Sickle Cell into this world should be arrested. This was a beautiful movie and a real one
@Winlos thank you for putting this movie together for the body of Christ. Religious beliefs (Not Faith) have done more harm than good in bringing more SCD children to the world. And yearly the statistics remain stagnant. Close to 8 million people live with this disease yet people still don't take Genotype seriously.
Thank you for using your platform to spread awareness. If SCD cases is going to reduce, pastors and the body of Christ will play a major role honestly to reorientate believers on faith and Genotype Incompatibility like you are doing.

The title of this movie should be "when you decided not to harken to God's voice." Obviously, God is actually speaking, through the girl, but decided not to par attention to his voice.
I believe there is a discrepancy in this movie. She said that God said they should not continue on with the marriage? God's word states that he hates divorce, following other passages that permit separation but the spouse must reconcile back to the husband/wife. This is a contradiction I'm sorry
I wish all singles can watch this and gain wisdom. God's way can still be painful but those who are petiant enough will understand that all God does is for our good even if we don't understand it at first

Noooooooooo! This movie was so, so, so good! The only thing is I don't like the ending, we need a happy ending for Mary & Joseph! Ok so Mary never got tested to confirm her genotype, so u all could have Mary & Joseph go their separate ways and they get involved with other people, Mary is about to get married to someone else and something happens where she finds out she's not really an "AS" type but a "AA" and then she realizes how much she really misses Joseph and go back to him and they get married and have beautiful, healthy children!!!! Oh ! The winlows : how can this end like this ?? 😢 I was expecting a miracle or positive outcome. What does this teach us? That Joseph may keep on finding AS girls and suffer because of his genotype? Until he eventually meet AA? Because if the only outcome is just marry AA, then where is the miracle in this ? That’s just science then
I found myself tearing up in-between scenes of this movie. For every believer, their challenges are different and I understand that waiting on God through the process can seem a bit hard. I am currently in a phase where I require a lot of faith to pull me through because it's all looking difficult. I saw a comment in this comment section that really got to me and strengthened my faith again. Thank You ❤
The most important thing is to ask God for direction as to who you should marry, once you are sure you are led by God to marry this person then go ahead, Gods will cant be limited by genotype, but the mistake most people make is that they find their own will & trust God for a miracle, is a different case if the couple already got married before accepting the Lord Jesus then God can step in and turn things around. So invove God from begining & that will be your confidence all the way so even if your genotype doesn't change you will be so sure that your kids wont be ss because the one who created us gave a go ahead.
