Is there any way to watch old shows
Quiche every other day for a year…
Her voice is weird
I love her….best cook ever
I Love Julia Child ! 🧡☺️🧡
Wtf is wrong with her voice
I thought she meant a swiss dude
She sounds like she needs to cough something up, Half gargling.
In 2026 that's worth $471,883.
Queen Julia.
You thought it was a good price before 🤷 good deal I say 😂😂😂
I wish this woman lived today. We lost one of the greats. A woman with gumption, indeed. We shall cook ever tastier foods in her legacy. The show must go on!
Years ago, before the internet, I used to get a special Gingerbread from the Lakes District in England. The only way to get it was to go into the shop yourself. Because I lived in California, I rarely could get it. I had an English friend (in California), who offered to have his Dad (in England) go and pick some up and send it on to me. Great plan. Some how $50 worth of Ginger bread translated to $500 and a huge carton of Gingerbread showed up, with me owing 10X what I had planned on.
We had that stuff sitting around for years.
That would be around $150-$275 back then or roughly $1500-$2800 today
Did they not know the word s for units of measure?
Julia Child helped raise me without ever knowing.
😂😂😂, she was always very funny. It's a s*** ton of cheese.
I presume it came with a person to slice the cheese because all she asked for was a hunk not a wheel!
"maybe I had better get 2 sides" Lucy Richardo
Julia child and temple grandin both have the most curious vocal intonation
The cheesiest of Omelettes ❤
Julia, this was the opposite of a problem
She's not hot, so why watch her?
Fondue is a Swiss dish of melted cheese. Fondue was a government psyop to get people to eat the surplus over production of cheese. Her getting185 pounds wasn't an accident.😂
omg omg lol
😂😂😂 love how she shared her mistake. happens to us all
That’s a man, baby
Julia Child raised the culinary standards of our family with her Sunday evening show. Mom and I hunkered down on the den steps , drooling in unison and taking notes. I sure do miss them both.
I really didn't know Jeremy Clarkson had a cooking channel.
They are still eating it to day
love how this is a generational issue
The fact that she was an accomplished cold war spy isn't often discussed. That interests me as much as the gargantuan cheese.
How much does that much swiss cheese cost today (and much did it cost back then)?
