On this channel, I usually review restaurants — but when you’re visiting Paris, sometimes you want something quicker, more affordable, and just as satisfying.

In this video, I’m taking you to 10 exceptional sandwich spots in Paris, spread across 7 arrondissements, with prices ranging from €6 to €15.

From the classic jambon-beurre to more creative combinations, all these sandwiches have one thing in common: excellent bread and quality ingredients.

To make things easy, I’ve created a map with all the addresses, which you’ll find via the link below.

Which one would you most like to try on your next trip to Paris? Let me know in the comments — and if you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to subscribe for more Paris food tips.

  1. Everything looks great! Ages ago when I was in Paris and staying at a youth hostel, I would start each day by stopping at the nearby patisserie and getting a ham and cheese sandwich to put in my backpack.

  2. Bonjour, Alain! How I wished there was someone local to take me around Paris when I was there in the summer of 2017 for 7 days! I stayed at this little hotel called Bervic in Montmartre, wandering around like a lost soul, anxious to get back to my room before it got dark. It was very strange. But I saw quite a few places, got ripped off at a few places, comes with the territory, I guess. But the thing I'm proudest of is this. I used to go to this bistro not far from the Bervic. And this elderly woman, dressed colourfully, very animated in expression, she came to my table one night and started talking to me in French. I love the French language, but I don't speak it. I'm very good at English, though! She kept talking to me for about an hour, and I kept listening to her, smiling at her, like I understood everything she was saying, while her friends sat at a table about 15 ft away, looking at us in a rather concerned way. When she finished her stream of consciousness, she went back to her table, and a few minutes later, she left the bistro with the pomp and ceremony only afforded a much-loved artist. One of her male friends then came over and thanked me for indulging her, for letting her talk and not getting annoyed. The dear lady was obviously in the early stages of dementia. I told him it was no problem and that I wished I could understand her. It was my shining moment in Paris! Wherever that lady is right now is hallowed ground. Her friends were the type of men that only Dumas and Hugo could've imagined into existence. And, yes, I did have some nice, simple baguette sandwiches while wandering around Paris! Thank you, Alain, and all the best!

  3. Dude! The information is great, sound and music awesome; but don’t show your mouth when eating. Don’t tape yourself eating, it is NOT video recommended!

  4. I love watching your videos. I would like you to bring a pescatarian with you on some meals for that perspective. I know you are not the greatest lover of seafood. I thank you for your efforts and for considering this request. 🙂

  5. As one who could live for weeks on nothing but sandwiches, this is epic! Heck, a week spent working from sandwich to sandwich between museums would be a grand adventure in itself. I really like museums as much as sandwiches.

  6. QUESTION: Is it possible to order a galette complète, to take away (à emporter)? Maybe it's a silly question but there are several ingredients in the galette, incl. a running yolk, would it be practical to take away? I'm thinking of having one at Little Breizh.

  7. My heart was a flutter watching all those gorgeous sandwiches being made & eaten🥰🥰🥰 I’m so overdue I need a trip to Paris & Burgundy!

  8. My dream is to go on a street food tour of Paris. Croissants and baguettes!

…and to walk 20,000 steps each day to make up for it. Which is easy in a city like Paris 😊

  9. My daughter and myself will be visiting Paris for the first time in 2027. I cannot wait to try some of these. My mouth is watering watching this. Thank you!

  10. Most sandwiches in Paris have literally nothing in them. Like one single piece of ham. One single piece of cheese. That's it. They're not really sandwiches as much as they are just a baguette. With nothing on it. Of course – the baguettes in Paris are the best in the world. But the sandwiches? Nah. Not worth it. Just get a baguette and make your own sandwich. I lived in Paris for 12 years.

  11. Great video! thank you for including the table listing the address of all of the establishments, making it easy to paste into my itinerary.

  12. Hi from America. I love, love, love your channel. The sandwiches look divine but I have to say, everyone of those deliriously delicious looking delights would have cost between $22 and $27 dollars in the US. Worth a trip to Paris just to eat the sandwiches? Oh yeah!

  13. I went to caractere de Cochon last year and it was 60-70 euros for sandwiches for 3 people and drinks! It was just ok in my opinion and quite the rip off, will try some of the other ps though thanks for sharing ❤

  14. Comme toutes les vidéos de cette chaîne, c'était carrément appétissante —mais à l'instar de la réussite du hamburger à Paris, j'attends avec impatience l'interprétation française du Philadelphia cheesesteak !

  15. Those baguettes are beautiful, dark and crusty. Baguettes sold in supermarkets in the U.S. just don't compare. They're usually pale in color, and the crust is smooth and softer. While I've never been to France to have a French baguette, I have had the American version 2,000 times over and they are tasteless. A waste of money and a waste of calories, not to mention an assault on the taste buds.
