More than meals of the week there are recipes as well today. I show you how I cook an amazing chicken dish and a chicken kebab with gluten free flat bread. All very tasty and home made from scratch!

Some recipes below. Whilst not exactly mine as I often cook on the hoof!

  1. I think its very rude that someone commented on the amount of food you eat. It's true that you can eat much more when the food is vegetable based. Also the fact that you don't really snack. In America we snack! Though I'm trying not too. Lol. I eat a vegetarian diet with alot of veggies. You asked for what we've been eating. I just made a carrot and ginger soup with some Thai seasoning in my instantpot. It's so good and I make a big batch and freeze the rest for later. Thanks for all the videos. I love watching them ( and your doggies are so cute!!) Did you make the gorgeous quilt that isshown in your video? Super small colorful squares…if so, I love it and admire your patience to finish such a big project. Happy Spring to you and your husband 🙂

  2. I cannot believe someone would say your portions are "big". I always think they are small, especially since the two of you are so active, you don't eat a full dinner, and you don't generally snack or have breakfast. I know I eat more than you for sure. Love your videos !

  3. First, I really appreciate your videos. Second, how hard do you think it would be to eat solely vegetarian outside of the big cities in France? You seem to eat a lot of meatless meals, which gives me hope.

  4. Interesting tip of what to do with the chicken skins to add additional flavor and nutrition. Mustard and cream are GREAT additions to almost every sauce!

  5. I love your flatbreads! When I was teaching in Turkey, my son and I took an overnight bus to the coast, where we found the Börek.maker preparing his day's thin bread. He took lumps of dough, put them one at a time on a short stick and whirled them round his head till they were as thin as paper. An amazing sight and it must have taken years to perfect this technique!

  6. I make a quick dough with 1 1/2 C flour, a little salt, and 1 C Greek yoghurt for wraps and pizza base – I think I've seen you show this, too?

  7. I always watch your videos. Your ideas are great, but here I can't do what Jane does because my husband doesn't like vegetables or salads. He's a man who only wants rice, pasta, or potatoes to go with protein. I'm very sorry because I like vegetables, but sometimes I'm too lazy to make two different meals.😃

  8. We are all different heights and sizes and all have different calorie needs. I'm a shorty so don't have a very high calorie requirement (unfortunately). I think that we all have to remember that. Your meals looks very tasty.

  9. Thanks Jane. I would love to know what was in the sauce with the tofu stir fry. It looked delicious! PS. The faster speed made me a little dizzy and lacked the normal relaxing feel of your videos.

  10. Remember to like and if you love this video hype it This channel needs to get out to more people. What Mike and Jane share can help so many!

  11. Seconded about the chicken skin trick, what a great idea! I already often put them in the air-fryer but then the dog and I usually fight over them! The little bit of fat that gets rendered off is also not wasted.

  12. Yummy meals. The soup looked so good. Love tofu, especially smoked. Not sure how readily that is available in France. Had some today with left over roast vegetables made into a pie. My husband makes great pastry with liquid vegetable oil as we have to watch our solid fat intake. Thanks as always for some tasty meal ideas

  13. Thank you for showing how you made the gravy and the way to use the chicken skins. You could also use that gravy over biscuits for an almost meatless meal.
