A delicious recipe for potatoes and cabbage with Béchamel sauce. It’s delicious! Quick and easy to make.
5 potatoes
300 g cabbage
1 onion
Butter
Olive oil
Fry until tender.
For the Béchamel sauce
– 50 g butter
– 50 g flour
– 500 ml milk
– Salt and pepper to taste
– A pinch of nutmeg
Bake for 20 minutes (200/400/20 minutes)

Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Gradually add the flour, stirring constantly. Cook the flour and butter together (this is called “brewing”) until smooth and lightly golden. This usually takes 2-3 minutes.
3. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Continue cooking over medium heat until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth. This may take about 5-7 minutes.
4. If desired, add a little nutmeg, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir until the sauce reaches the desired flavor.
5. The Béchamel sauce is ready! You can use it in a variety of dishes, including lasagna, potato gratin, and other recipes.
This sauce serves as a base for many other sauces and dishes and can be varied by adding cheese, herbs, or other ingredients as desired.
