Bonjour friends,
How have you been?
The sun is back in Brittany. Even if I love rainy days, I’m kind of happy about it. After a few bad days and bad luck I decided I needed some cheesy comfort food.
I made a classic French Tartiflette, with lots of cheese, potatoes an onions. This is the kind of dish who feel like a warm comforting blanket, perfect after a bad day or during cold winter days. I also made French fritters for Mardi Gras, fried food is not my strong suit but they turned out delicious.
The recipes are written down bellow, if you want to try them. Enjoy! 🥰🤗
Thank you so much for watching this video and for your support, it really means a lot. ❤️
Take care friends, see you soon

I love it, every video is amazing, can't wait for the next one 🥰
This video is indeed comforting, as the food, hoping a lot of strength for your camera lens 💐💐

Your recipes always look delicious!! I'm sharing my favorite orange cake recipe with you since you asked!
Orange Almond Flour Cake
This cake uses whole oranges that are boiled to remove the bitterness. It creates a moist and delicious orange cake!
2 medium oranges, whole with rind on – any type
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
6 large eggs (room temperature)
1 1/4 cups white sugar
2 3/4 cups almond meal / ground almonds
Place oranges in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil over medium high heat. Boil for 40 minutes, keep an eye on the water level, add more water to keep the oranges submerged. Drain.
Rinse oranges, then cool slightly so you can handle them. Slice, then dice, removing any seeds. Cool completely.
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease and line a 9" cake pan with baking/parchment paper.
Place chopped oranges in a food processor. Process on high until pureed with only a few visible bits of rind remaining. It does not need to be completely smooth.
To the food processor, add the almond meal, eggs, baking powder and sugar. Process for 5 – 10 seconds on high until combined.
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 60 minutes until the surface is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in the cake pan. When cool, turn out and dust with powdered sugar
Enjoy!
Another set of vintage curtains? So soft and ethereal. Oh, the cheese blanket, decadent indeed. There’s nothing better to make some good food to cheer oneself up. Merci beaucoup.

Orange butter cookies with an orange glaze! Yummy
I would really appreciate it if, as you are adding ingredients to a recipe, you would tell us on teh screen what it is you are adding, and how much it is, so we can follow along in the recipe as you go.
Chicken Orangee is a great recipe as well.
It's a fantastical landscape, like a painting by Camille Corot.
All the dishes look delicious, and they match perfectly with the antique-style table 🙂
I absolutely love your calming video. It’s very cozy and warm. ❤❤
A favorite of mine are scones with orange zest & dark chocolate! Yum!

I absolutely LOVE the look of your videos. I feel like I'm stepping back in time to France. Please don't ever stop making these. I feel like I am there with you making these wonderful recipes. I live in a rural community in California/USA. I have been baking sourdough bread for 6 years now. I am in the last step tonight of making a Lemon Rosemary Sourdough bread. I usually give it away, but occasionally keep it. We'll see with this one. I think I inherited from my Paternal Grandmother. She had 14 children, my Father being the youngest, and would make bread every week.
I love tartiflette! I have friend whose mother was French and she makes a delicious one. 😋

It is so good to see you again but I'm so sorry that you have another – worse – cold, it will deplete your energy. Thank you very much for taking the trouble to write all your delicious recipes out for us……I can't wait to try your French Tartiflette, I saw it made by my neighbours when I lived in Normandie but I have never made it because of all the cream & cheese in it (Cholesterol problems) but I am going to do it next week….high calories or not !
All the rain has been terrible, the fields are sodden with water as your lovely pictures show. The farmers will have a hard time trying to sow Spring crops this year. I do hope that you are well again very soon …..Le Printemps est arrivé maintenant, donc nous avons beaucoup de bonnes choses à voir à l'extérieur 👏👏👏👏👏😉☺
Hi, thanks for the great video. Can I ask you a technical question? What camera and microphone are you using? 😋
0:42 C’est un très beau matin
Thank you always for the beautiful videos.
A rainbow appears after the rain🌈
Surely, wonderful days are waiting for you.🎉

When I was a little girl ,my grand mother use to make fritters like this. But she would roll out the dough into a circle and cut them out like slices of cake and deep fry them as triangular pieces then once cooked and still hot slice them in half and spread rasberry jam in the middle abit like a sandwich and we would eat them sitting by the fire in winter with a big cup of tea..i thought it was the best day ever….I love homemade lemon curd spread on big fat light as a feather scones…Or marmalade on hot buttered toast .Or a marmalade & ginger steamed pudding with custard…Very comforting all of them on a cold day by the fire…My grandmother was half French and brought up by her French grandparents…..The old traditions have been past down through the years which is a good thing regards cooking. In this age of processed foods from supermarkets. Alot of families are so missing out on real food in this day and age. I am so glad that my grown up children know how to cook from scratch .And all have there own kitchen gardens. .I love watching you cook .It reminds me so much of myself as a young woman on the kitchen table..I was asked once ."What could you not live without in your kitchen". My answer was my table. Ive put together endless meals ,bathed babies ,tended school work with my children had many wonderful meals with family around the table..Thankyou for sharing your wonderful videos I love them all .I wish you well and good health. Hoping the sunshine makes you feel better after the awful winter you have had..I am 72 in Sept .We are in the first days of Autumn the winter will be with us..All the best jane from Down Under..xoxo
