My new window area. Thank you for the help, especially to whomever mentioned privacy static cling

I had blackout curtains solely because I hated the lack of privacy with my window facing the street. I can’t believe I didn’t know about these static sticker things, but it meant that I could actually get regular curtains and bring life back to my room again. I’m much happier with this than with my middle/high school minimalist/ikea phase.

I wasn’t able to place the brackets as far to the side as I wanted for the curtains, but it was such a struggle to get the screws in the wall that I do not care anymore. It still looks far better than before. Still kept the plastic hooks though lmao, I’ll have to get some tie-backs
