25 y/o male first time apartment. I need help choosing a color palette and furniture. My place looks super dull lol. I like all types of colors. but I want this place to be cohesive. Anyone have any ideas?
I can’t believe they painted the doors and trim that gray color..
As far as HOW to choose, go to the hardware store and grab a bunch of swatches that you’re interested in, even multiples of them and tape them on the walls in your apartment for a few days and check out the colors throughout different times of day and different lighting. Keep note of which ones you seem to be more drawn to.

It’s pretty neutral just do whatever you want. Start with an anchor piece in each room like a rug or something you love and build off it.

I think the trim is fine, but you need something a little more fun on the walls. I would surely leave the trim.
