Going entirely off my vibes of the outfit here but I go to clothing that flows with my body and isn’t designed to stand against them, so personally the pants would drive me mad and I’d have to change before the event, but if I put that aside they do look nice visually and create an interesting shape. However my brain can’t get past how stiff it might feel to have those outward curves with my knee joint bending to sit

I've never seen those barrel pants make anyone look better. They don't look bad on you, you look nice! But they don't do much either.
