My living room/kitchen/dining room is very small and the layout is super awkward. I have always wanted a sectional but now after one year I feel like it’s too big for my place. I tried to make it cozy, fun and chic but everything turns out to be so greyish, lifeless and boring. Not sure where it went wrong. Please help me to improve:
I want to buy new couch and thinking to switch from sectional to regular couch and small chair. New couch Im thinking of getting (in pics)
What arrangement should I do for this room? Should I move the TV to the window and have the couch in the middle of the room, facing the TV or keep as it? The shoe area I dont know what to do with as it is too big. I want to somehow cover it but not sure how.
How can I redecorate the wall area to make it more chic, I want to change up the painting too.
Any other decor ideas I can do to improve? Add rugs, coffee table,..? Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Maybe a lighter colored sectional or a deeper, richer color. I feel like the grey sort of sucks the color out of the room. Also an accent rug goes a long way! And a nice coffee table.
