Sage seems more country cottage which goes with your cabinets but I think the blue would.work if it was done similarly to the green ie more different cushions and more orderly

What a lovely nook! With a cozy rug under the table with green colors to bring out the sage, a bit of art under the shelving and a sweet plant on the window ledge, I vote for #1. It’s calming and fresh.
