Needing some opinions! After only having our lovely new floorboards for 4 months, our washing machine flooded into our kitchen and insurance will be ripping it up and replacing it. They have suggested we put tiles down in the kitchen (as we have 5 ‘water points’) and leave the rest of the house with our floorboards. I’m not opposed to this, but can’t imagine what it might look like, or what colour/type of tiles would go best. The photo shows what flooring will stay in the rest of the house, so I need opinions or recommendations on what tile will go with this? Cabinets are not black like it seems in the photo, more of a deep cool brown.
