I assume you would put the eyelets over the posts… But I’ve never seen or used this type, so that’s just what I’d try until realizing it looked stupid (likely).

Looks like whoever hung curtains there before used the clips on the rings. The problem there is you can only have one panel in one size that can never be pushed to the side off the window to open.
