I enjoy the sunlight coming through and my sliding glass door is facing the backyard; I also have an awning so the sunlight is not blinding. What would look best aesthetically speaking?
Yes! You can make the curtain rods longer than the actual openings so they don’t block any of the light. They will make the windows look larger. I even put curtains around my sliding glass door and love it! Move the painting next to the door to the place the mirror is. That wall is too small for it. Then curtains in its place.

Your space already gets such great light, so I wouldn’t do heavy curtains here. If you want to keep that airy feel, sheer or light linen panels could be a nice middle ground.

On our back sliding door I had a double rod with white sheer curtains and then beige blackouts over the top. It was really pretty. (Blackout curtains only ever used at night)

I would install a blind that matches the other two windows, and just leave it pulled up. [example](https://imgur.com/a/dz3IwH0) Repeating the same window treatment throughout the space keeps the eye moving and makes the space feel more expansive.
