Tried this at a restaurant. This is my first time trying DRC. I thought he price was reasonable considering I was able to just buy one glass.

Price: $700/150ml

Super floral on the initial nose. Strawberry, Roses, cherry, licorice, leather, some kind of like red fruit candy, plum, not the best at describing floral notes, but it's super complex florally, after a bit there's more stewed fruit and earth tones.

A good amount of cherry, decent amount of oak influence, leather, cherry candy, light amount of spice, salinity, minerality, with more time in the glass, I get a more savory profile, soy, more minerality, etc. very concentrated. Tannins are structured, but not overpowering

Superb wine, one of the best I've ever had. Not worth the money by any means besides, but a unique experience. The wine evolve so much in the glass from a more delicate fruit and floral profile and slowly towards a savory, soy, saltyness. Just lovely. I hope to try the rest of the DRC lineup at some point.
