Bring the flavors of New Orleans to your breakfast table!
In this video I’m making a rich, fluffy omelette filled with lump crabmeat, fresh thyme, okra, the classic Holy Trinity (onion, bell pepper & celery), sharp cheddar, Cajun seasoning, and fresh green onions.
To finish it the Louisiana way, I top it with a bright homemade Cajun remoulade made with mayonnaise, mustard, sour orange, hot sauce, parsley, and Creole spices.
This is comfort food with soul—perfect for weekend brunch, Mardi Gras mornings, or anytime you want a taste of the French Quarter at home.
INGREDIENTS
Omelette:
Lump crabmeat
Thyme
Okra
Onion, green bell pepper & celery (Holy Trinity)
Sharp cheddar, shredded
Cajun seasoning
Green onions
Eggs, salt & pepper, butter
Cajun Remoulade:
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Sour orange (or lemon/lime blend)
