  1. Arkansas, despite being landlocked, DOES have alligators. Alligators are freshwater creatures that live in rivers, wetlands, and bayous.

  2. Georgia has some pretty weird ones 😂 for example, it’s illegal to have an ice cream cone in your back pocket on a Sunday, bc people used to lure horses away while their owners were in church! (I think)

Another is you can’t eat fried chicken with a fork lol

  3. Until recently we also had a law that said if you were driving at night you had to have someone walk in front of you and carry a lantern.

  4. I cannot believe Arkansas still has that damn stupid law up saying you could get arrested for saying the state name wrong. Oh yeah, they must have the best literacy rate ever in the US, right? So they think they can go around and police others how to use their state name? RIDICULOUS LAW!!!

  5. I somehow guess it after you said the Gator law was confusing due to the state being landlocked and got hyped after you talked about the name pronunciation law

  6. I’m an Arkansan resident, it is not illegal to say Arkansas incorrectly, it is just a law stating that Arkansas is pronounced that way, that’s like saying it’s illegal to spell “Hawaii” instead of “Hawai’i”

  7. To be clear, the fine for flirting is between $5 and $25 and only applies in Little Rock. It’s a law but not actually enforced anywhere.
