For reference I just got my first apartment, I’m low income and furniture is very expensive. I have a specific style I like that I really don’t want to budge on because it’s my first space, but it’s hard to find new MCM couches for less than $600 that aren’t in a box. I’m wondering if they’re not worth it and if I should just get a slightly used couch to live out my mid century dream. Thanks for any input

I bought a sofa and chair from allform during the pandemic. The frame is sturdy as heck. The leather on my sofa…not so much. And now they are out of business. Also, and this is important, buying without being able to try it out is not great. I can’t sit comfortably on my sofa or chair without a couple of pillows behind me for support because I have short legs. I will not do that again. Our next sofa is coming from a store where I can sit on it and look it over.
