What can I do about this?

This is on our ceiling in our downstairs powder room. I need to cover it up. Does anyone have any clever ideas as to how I can pull this off? It's obviously not finished yet,but there is nothing we can do at this time to fix it, unfortunately. We just have to manage this small "bump" (it's not a bubble and too long to explain). it's about 2 inches in diameter so not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but definitely very noticeable! The good news is, it is almost smack dab center of the ceiling so I think that helps with whatever I do. We have family coming over on Saturday *cries*
