I made a little layout in sims just to represent the furniture. I feel like it just doesn't have a very nice flow, and feels both empty and crowded at the same time. I would prefer to keep all the furniture I currently have in here since I use it for storage, but I'm open to suggestions! Please tell me what you guys would do with this space 🙂

You have way too much stuff up against the wall. To make it more homey, I’d create a sitting area with a couch and two chairs or two couches (small ones) and a table in between them. Maybe a gallery wall on the large wall. Lamps that make the room feel warm. And probably a bigger table on the other side of the room from the sitting area to lay out your crafts.
Just like in real life: don’t push furniture up against the wall.
Bring the couch away from the wall – it’s so far away from the tv!
Add rugs to create sections within the room.
Make stations and divide the room according to activities. Crafts go on one side with storage and work surface and good lighting. Set up another area for reading or just watching videos/movies and relaxing. Use rugs to help mark the spaces. Don’t be afraid to move things off the wall or to the center of the room.
Split the room in half to give it better purpose and definition
Create a seating area by the windows, use a rug to help define the area.
Make a different area around the door with the bookshelf, piano, and other helpful pieces
