Here is why your french press coffee recipe may not work. The biggest factor turned out to be not the french press itself, but a properly chosen water temperature.

I tried to make coffee in Ceramic, Single and Double wall glass, Stainless Still french presses and the difference was enormous. Ceramic was way better than the rest. I used boiling water for that test.

Then I adjusted water temperature to match Ceramic. I needed to use lower temperatures from 96 to 92°C. And that’s where the flavor leveled out. And the difference was negligible.

Since there are way more details to consider, check out the recipe.
