    It might be a better idea to remove all the paneling for now, ,replaster in lime, let it breathe for a couple of years then re panel , the damp will always find a way out, you might just be moving the damp further up the wall above the paneling.

    I think your lawn could use a good dose of weed and feed it’s looking a bit patchy. Maybe best to do it in the spring

    An old house needs lots of maintenance, I know as we just had several of our floors replaced in our house that's only 47 years old. Good luck on getting the water you need, hope all goes well.
