I've never had fries in the US, but here in Europe the McDonald's fries are dogshit, probably because we don't have all of the additives that you guys have over there, so they don't come out the same, they're fucking limp and anaemic. Ours are just Potato, Oil, Salt & Dextrose… in the US there's also "beef flavouring" (made from wheat and milk), sodium acid pyrophosphate and hydrogenate soybean oil so whatever all that shit does, it seems to add up to a more "yellow" colour and more crispy on the outside… so over here, Five Guys are the gold standard because the recipe is the same except for the peanut oil that's used to make the fries – it's "refined" peanut oil in the US and "unrefined" peanut oil over here
Now you gotta go into the frozen section and get the fries and fry them, see who got the best at home version lmao rallys and arbys lowkey tied when you do that.
Rallys so good,they're the only frozen fries. I get,pop them into the air frier to get that. Perfect Amount of crisp lol,i already knew they were winning.
