A cup of joe at a cafe in Dubai costs almost a year’s worth of Starbucks. Julith Coffee claims to sell the most expensive cup of coffee in the world, made from beans they purchased at auction from Panama. They say they dropped $600,000 on 44 pounds of the rare hand picked beans. So to make back their money they’re charging $1,000 per cup. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Lol 😂
Yeah, they're definitely never gonna make that money back, awful business decision! Congrats, you played yourself!
Imagine spilling it
NEVER !!!!!
Does it come in de-caf?
I mean I'd love too, but I can't even afford a trip to Dubai 😂😂🤣🤣
Coffee always just tastes like coffee no matter how you make it
STUPID
Yeah hell no I would spend $1000 for an expensive coffee!
Yeah because of course they would.
There is no coffee worth that. It’s just people with too much money.
Scam
of course its in Dubai
even if i was rich i wouldn’t be this stupid
Yuck! You couldn’t pay me to drink that. Light roasts are bad enough, and on top of that it looks like they’re skimping on grounds to stretch their supply even further.
Must be nice.
and the farmers were paid peanuts
The coffee doesn’t look good actually
Just a tad more expensive than Starbucks 😂
Rediculous from Starbucks Not even worth mentioning how absurd this is Might want to rethink the addiction 😅
As a daily coffee drinker, this doesn’t excite me at all.
Serkan Sağsöz, probably just like salt bae Nusret Gökçe. Selling overpriced stuff
So stupid! Why don't they help feed the homeless and less fortunate?
Scam again
That coffee better make me awake and alert for twenty four hours.
It's artificial luxury though. There is nothing better about it. Who cares if the beans are grinded with diamonds or whatever they're claiming?
That coffee looks watered down for $1000 clear coffee 😅
😂
Ok, so God himself made it? Got it!
$1000 for cup of joe is a crime.
Imagine a heist by a group of friends late at night to drink this cup of coffee ☕️
⚠️don't buy it your money goes to ham as ⚠️
Location is empty, says everything. The notes they describe aren't even anything special and can be found easily in other coffees for a faction of the price. Nothing about the coffees acidity or any of its other notes. Acting like flavor is everything, this cafe is hopeless.
so its like $50 or $100 per sip?…. I'd say the absurd high price is just a marketing gimmick. As others pointed out, these "notes/flavors" are also found in many other cheaper coffee beans, so…. not sure what justifies the price.
