We do have flying cars, not really common tho.
We have electric scooters bikes, and so on instead of sidewalks (and where i live good public transport)

a universal language would greatly decrease global conflict. it help how we view foreign countries because well understand them which will lead to more communication which leads to less conflict. now of course it’s not a guarantee but having a universal language would help humanity more than any technological advancement will
