French Chicken Casserole + Tartiflette (Kid-Friendly!)
Two cozy French classics made simple for little chefs and homeschool kitchens! We keep it easy—brown, layer, bake, and enjoy—no fancy tools or long lists.
In this video, kids will:
• Practice safe knife grips, sautéing with adult help, and oven safety
• Build flavors (garlic, herbs, stock) for a comforting chicken casserole
• Layer potatoes, cheese, and add-ins for a simple tartiflette twist
• Learn tiny bites of food science (browning = flavor!) and geography (Bonjour, France! 🇫🇷)
What we’ll focus on (not full recipes):
• French Chicken Casserole: Brown → simmer → bake for tender chicken + veggies.
• Tartiflette-style bake: Slice → layer potatoes + cheese → bake till bubbly.
(We’ll show easy swaps and kid jobs along the way.)
Allergens & easy swaps (quick heads-up):
• Dairy present (cheese); optional bacon; gluten-free friendly if sides are GF. Veggie add-ins like mushrooms or peas work great.
