San Sebastian ruined me. Imagine a city where the entire game plan is to wander from bar to bar eating tiny gourmet snacks that somehow taste like the best thing you have ever put in your mouth. These pintxos are supposed to be “bar food” but they make our fries and mozzarella sticks look like sad prom dates. Let’s see if we can pull of homemade Pintxos (not tapas) at the crib.

who eats the leftovers?
Heck yeah, Gildas!
NGL Adam, the whole swishing your cider like it's mouthwash is p. weird, not sure what you were going for with that one. Some delicious looking pintxos though.
This video is gold … and mind blowing. Thank you Mr and Mrs Witt
I'd love to see a video of your trip to the Basque country. I live in the south of France, so I've already been there a couple of times but I'd love to see where you went, what you ate and what you thought of it !
@14:23 that's that undeniable haha
Spanish food is, if not number one food in the world it’s a strong contender to it, and basque food is the best food in Spain by faaaaarrrrr!! For one of the most singular meat eating experiences you will ever have anywhere in the world check out Asador Etxebarri.
Surely, the last one is called: Adam & Eve – great video! 👍
Fun fact: The Basque language is not related to Spanish at all. In fact, it isn't even an Indo-European language. It's a language isolate, meaning there is nothing else like it in the entire world. Hindi is more closely related to Spanish than Spanish is to Basque. We don't know for sure how long the Basque people have called the Basque country home, but they've probably been there for at least 7,000 years. That's a hell of a lot of time to have culturual continuity. Even the Chinese don't have that.
Never knew you could grate an egg
No grocery closer that 20 miles. I actually subbed slim jims for chorizo. Way too much salt and chemicals, but tasty.
Adam thanks for this!!! You’re so fabulous and yes please make the video of you tasting your way through Spain!!!❤
They all seem great but I would fight someone for a Gilda.
Adam your wife is so pretty
Oh man, I love food like this. Pintxo culture exists on the other side too, in Barcelona, and it was pretty delicious. But these small bites are basically just hors d'oeuvres, right? I think they're bigger than hors d'oeuvres usually are, but I think it's the same concept. Everyone loves hors d'oeuvres. I did those for a party once, a few different combinations on crackers or bread. I don't remember exactly what I used. I think I had butter with Marmite on one, salmon roe with pickled ginger on another, smoked salmon spread (with mayo base, not cream cheese) with kalamata olive on another, some sort of cheese with fig jam on another, and I can't remember the fifth one. I felt a bit bad for my wife because everyone loved the little bites but didn't really eat the dinner food she made (which was also delicious, as always).
8That chorizo you showed looks more like chistorra (txistorra). Cooking chorizo in sider is probably most popular in Asturias.
Cool video mate. Hope you cover some food from Azores, Portugal.
Thanks for the Amazon links, gonna try making these Gildas at home.
0:20 "A humble town"
You couldn't be more wrong. It's a quite posh city. Most expensive real estate in Spain. It used to be the city where the royal family spent their summers.
San Sebastian is a jewel. Just because it's small doesn't mean it's humble
As a Scot who's lived in Spain for over a decade, I gotta say, the North is amazing but Ssshhhh! Keep it secret from the guiris!
As a Spaniard who has been in San Sebastian a few times, I think you couldn't do better, great video as always 😃
