Today’s little French affair? Oh, it ( well me mates did ) whisked me away on a super day trip around Shunter and Jackie’s patch here in the Brittany , Normandy , somewhere region, France. From cobbled streets rattling Calamity’s bones, to little villages so sleepy I almost joined them for a nap, farmland, some bendy toads (oops, roads… though some French drivers are bendy toads, let’s be honest 🐸), and of course must-see churches and castles galore.
Honestly, the history boggles my brain. How did they build these mega structures in the 12th century with nothing but calloused hands, rudimentary tools, and probably some tyrant cracking a whip while they were at it? Mind you, these are the same people who decided snails were a gourmet food because, the truth be known , they’re easy to catch when you’re part of a “relaxed” nation 😏.
Anyway, yesterday and today’s video will be up soon for those wanting a taste of French country chic—a mix of stone walls, green fields, and your Aussie nana sweating it out in riding gear while the locals sip wine and watch. it’s a bit of a mix of 2 days .. i’ll be sleeping tomorrow because sunday we start the adventures again . You just have to love the French laid back relaxing life style, Happy people live forever,… Great history and places of interest, well done with no WiFi, some French accordion music would of been nice,… Good to see you wearing the Baffle Hous T-shirt from your Wales stop over, Added Edit: more riding scenery footage with loud engine noise on route to Le Harve ferry port would be good🌹.

Wonderful footage CC, great old buildings and that oldest castle was very intriguing. Thanks so much for vids around town and out in the country sides plus the general way of life over there. Very nice couple who showed you around, great people. Gosh so much to see, the old car you were in, the tasty burgers, open air concert, double yocker, and all those little villages with the so old buildings. The old wash house seemed strange and now the community bins make good sense. Ok good lady take care, looking forward to the next segment please, please. So interesting to see, you have a sidecar full of appreciation from us home screen viewers.

Another great vlog, and how lucky are you having friends in such a gorgeous region. Lol, the french attitude is a real thing. Here in Canada, Quebec is a french language only province, attitude there is note worthy.

Loved these vids of this Euro trip, binge watched them over three days. You even came through my home town of Hull to catch the ferry. I love your attitude and coolness of dealing with any problems that arise. I’m pretty sure if I’d have done that French trip I’d have ran out of petrol and died at the side of the road due to malnutrition. They’d find my skeleton 6 months later still clutching on to a 5 euro note handed to me by an arsey French woman. Looking forward to next episodes to the end. 🫡
