Didn't you do well ? It's absolutely lovely with prices more than reasonable ! You've both worked so hard and I sincerely hope that you reap the rewards that you so deserve. How about carrying on with the " drink " themed room names, liqueuers have French names ? Just a thought.

Loved the intro😉 You've done an amazing job, you should be very proud of yourselves. Loved all the old 1930s? wallpaper. Two and three nights minimum stay is spot on, it's an impossible job to keep on top of everything if you did one nights stay on each room. Oh the sound of clapping cheeks 😆

Love all the rooms..I think the champagne suite is my fav..and I agree as nice as it would to keep the bdays.( Spell check) No one used them any more .both amazing all that work has paid off greatly…just wondering you said no heating.do the fires work? As you could put a wee fire in the room if it gets chilly..I used to live it when I was little ,no heating and we had a fire in the bedrooms.
Circumstances I can't book to stay but I'll share on face book .
No idea for room names..I'd just keep them as the colours😊

Claire, you crack me up – no need to mention in what respect – but that aside, what you have both achieved on your own dime, through really hard graft and an eye for a bargain is just amazing. Your place is simply beautiful. I live 4hrs from you in the SW and I wouldn't think twice about booking in with you whenever I am over in your neck-of-the-woods. I think your pricing is good – not that I travel a lot! – but I did go to Europe & the UK over winter and I'm sure I was paying 120 pounds in Uk for an overnight stay in most places.
Could you name the rooms after the colours using the French word? Lol, I have no idea what they would be or if they sound good, but if I was visiting France I wouldn't want to stay in the 'green' room, I would want it to sound French. Or, name each room after a member of the original family that lived there? Or, name each room after a different type of French wine?
