  1. Oui,C'est vraiment La Politesse
    On peut aussi ajouter… J'aimerais un sandwich… J'ai faim… ça a l'air très réel… Pas du tout touristique

  2. It would be extremely helpful if you translated your words so we know what you are saying.
For example “Je voudrais. What does it mean? I had to look it up.
If would be better if you said, “Je veux means I want” which sound demanding. What you should say instead is Je voudrais which means I would like.”
You gave us a better way to say something but did not translate what it means.

Also, would you repeat what you are saying much more slowly so we can better hear the individual words. When you speak at normal speed it sounds beautiful, but it goes by so fast It is hard to understand what you are saying. Thank you.

  3. Great and very useful lesson. It would have been even better if you included the English translation to the 8 excellent examples that you taught us. Thanks 🙏🏾

  4. If you are learning french, saying je veux is not bad at all! I am born french speaking and saying je veux everywhere lol french is over complicated

  5. Si quelqu’un me demande ” vous voulez du café ? ”, je peux répondre ” Oui, j’en veux, s’il vous plaît ”, n’est-ce pas ?

  6. Useful video but I prefer not to have the spoken English as it detracts from immersing oneself in the French language. Polite comment. Merci beaucoup.

  7. Having the translations for the expressions would let your audience know not only what to say, but why to say it that way and what it means.

  8. Love this! As a very beginning French speaker i would love English translation for the phrases you are saying to help remember and understand the phrases! Thank you! Merci Beaucoup. ❤

  9. Do they not teach this anymore? I’m 65 and even my short exposure to French in high school taught me to use je voudrais.

  10. Il existe aussi les façons humoristiques de demander : "Je frétillerais d'aise si vous vouliez bien m'apporter un verre d'eau" par exemple.

  11. In my view this is basically good advice for ordering at restaurants and coffee shops in the US as well, as in "I'd like a coffee" (Je voudrais….) or "I'll take the caesar salad" (je vais prendre…). "I want" sounds like you're a toddler.

  12. I'll have, I'd like, it's the same in english, we don't say "I want". Now I could help you with pronouncing words that begin with H, and that would be; "I read every single one", not "I'm reading every… all languages are subtle, nothing easy about any language. Great job though, I much prefer this to the many people proffering popular and quite vulgar french to L2 learners. bises!

  13. I'm half french and because of that I grew up learning random phrases my maman would say. "Est-ce que je peux avoir" would be one of the many she made me use daily so when I started learning french properly I was a bit confused at first when they kept trying to push "je veux" or "je voudrais" when my whole life I had learnt otherwise, even my mamie would rarely say "je veux" or "je voudrais".

  14. as I am lazy I say 'pourrais-je avoir s.v.p". Concernant "il me faudrait", utilisé dans l'Aude, never heard outside though, are you from the South or did I just miss the expression elsewhere?
