You probably been to some bad steak places as what you cooked is nothing like the restaurant, there is no smoke involved in yours, just frying. Can't imagine that tasting that good, plus the sauce had no fried onions and no wine.
I’m the opposite. I never enjoy the steaks I have at home – probably because in cheap and lazy and don’t buy good steaks or know how to cook them best. But absolutely love a steak at a restaurant
