These are the crispy smashed potatoes that have been a viral hit everywhere lately. No measurements needed…just add the ingredients to your liking and get to smashing!

  1. They look nice but not the best. Firstly they are waxy potatoes with skin on. For the crispiest and fluffiest it’s best to use russet (USA) or Maris Piper (UK). Same process but don’t smash just chuff up a little by shaking them in the on after they’re drained and steam off. Then roast in 400c for an hour in duck fat or an olive oil/butter mix (plenty of oil. The more the better, just drain on paper towel afterwards .

  2. it looks amazing, i love cut them to pieces with some spices and later on put some pecorino on it at end . but this looks even way better and more crispy , for sure will try it 😀

  3. Putting baby potatoes in the air frier season the same way without boiling and cook at 409 for 25 minutes and the results are about the same just a little softer maybe cook a little longer if you like them crispy

  4. I boiled the potatoes but when i crushed them, the potatoes broke into pieces 😮
    Is this because i didnt boil them enough?

  7. Dont use teflom pot for boiling food stainles steel is healthy, and there is nothing to stick why use pot with cheamical . I only use teflon for chicken becauae it sticks
