Join us, Carol & Ken, as we start a whole new adventure in our Consort Nova Motorhome called Snoopy.
This time we are heading to Brittany in Northwest France.
We board the ferry at Newhaven for the four hour crossing to Dieppe.
It is great to arrive safely at our destination after a stressful start to our trip when we discovered our credit card had been hacked and our Nectar (supermarket loyalty scheme) points had been stolen.
The following day starts with a special visit to fulfill a promise we made to a subscriber. Then we stop at Fécamp where a steep walk and hotter weather than we were expecting take their toll!
Heading further towards Brittany we stop off at the pretty, historic town of Honfleur. We walk up to the Chapel of Notre Dame de Grace with beautiful views over the town towards Le Havre.

Sorry that the sound is low in these first few episodes. It took me a while to get used to my new video editor. If you have been watching our habitation check videos the sound is correct but they were made after these next few videos. 👍
❤️ the music
I camp in a tent in the bush and always have a pee bottle along for the trip. One needs discipline in it's use and storage at night as it would be leave a nasty taste in the mouth if it gets mixed up with the drinking water bottle. One also has to be aware that when it is freezing outside there is a strong possibility the contents will freeze meaning one has to carry it until it liquifies. Not such a problme in a camper.
Just thought I’d say that you are looking very well Ken.
Great vid Carol & Ken 😁
Only just found your channel and love it…. The fiat sat-nav is useless….its a pity the iPad doesn’t have Apple car play, as we use this from my iPhone and it streams direct to the display which is excellent
Bonjour, ça fait plaisir de vous voir revenir en France. Carole va pouvoir mettre son excellent français en pratique. Il y a beaucoup d'expatriés britanniques en Bretagne, peut-être qu'un jour vous aussi viendrez vous y installer…
Love watching you both here from the USA. Dream of touring the north west but i have a couple issues, im petrified of bears, and my husband snores so loud we would need two vans. So my plan is to buy a Ram Promaster City and make it a little girly get away. Thats my dream anyway. Stay safe and keep up the good work chaps…😊
Another lovely, interesting and relaxing tour, and may i say that you're both looking very trim and youthful, your healthy eating plan is working beautifully 😊
Lovely video. We would love to do a similar trip. How did you manage to bring in the food you had made at home? I have a food intolerance and not sure my French is up to ensuring I avoid it. So would need to bring some things.
U always get one jealous idiot who has to comment negative rubbish Ken
hows the diabetes now?
Ken why dont you make up the bed while Carol takes a shower. I dont see an equal share of daily chores happening. Poor Carol 😢 LOL
July 1955 train to Newhaven, boat to Dieppe and on to Paris by SNCF. They wer burning high sulphur coal and it smelled of rotten eggs all the way. Have been to Honfleur maybe 20 years ago – very nice and I bought the cap that I wear in the market. There was a restuarant there that served the most delicious tomato soup I have ever tasted – they wouldn't let me have the recipe
I done the same thing with my backpack , but left a cabbage in it . When opened i nearly threw up it stunk .
As for the toilet issue , i agree with you i would do the same .
Don't eat anything fatty.
Hey Carol , how about a bit of neutral lippy and a bit of eyeshadow to go with the hair ? Just a girly suggestion . You don't need it. Happy travels both of you .💄
Lovely video such beautiful places
Carol, that sourdough bread looked delicious….is it made with a fermented sourdough starter culture? 🙏
My mother’s maiden name was Hume and the family was originally from Scotland. That other young soldier's grave intrigued me!
