It is Your channel Barry? Or someone stolen Your content?
Barry, I adore you, but I do not know why you are putting so much oil in an air fryer. I don't think that's safe. An air fryer is just a small convection oven. Meaning essentially what you've done is put a pan of oil in an oven and try to fry something like that. It doesn't work like that. You can't bring the oil to temp for frying that way and so that style of "fry" begins to soak up the oil and break apart. If the oil is hot enough, the outside crisps too fast for them to soak up the oil and that's why they don't fall apart.
Again, I adore you, but I've seen you try this a few times and putting that much oil into an air fryer doesn't make a lick of sense, unless you were perhaps trying to confit something, but it also seems dangerous because the heating element is enclosed with so much oil like that.
This is CRAP!!!
uhhh bagels work great! I toast the plain bagle in the air fryer, take it out, spread on creamcheese , add some bacon and cheddar and put it back in the airfryer for a couple of minutes.
my airfryer is like a toaster convection and air fry combo and has two doors and you can see it so i love it it works for everything except nuke machine lol
tator tots in a waffle iron the mini one is amazing by the way not air fryer thing lol
Just a few hours work. Seems ok..
Can’t you see 🎶 you see? Can’t you c… you c? Ah Barry your puns are phantastic 😂❤
The idea of an air fryer is to not need to deep fat fry
LOL, Reddit.
I like to preheat my airfryer then put in my cheese on bread but not turn it on. I allow the residual heat melt my cheese a bit first, then turn it on. No more cheese in the fan
"Cheeky" 😠 🔫
The words flashing on screen the entire video is annoying as hell. Please stop doing this.
i like the little sun the bottom tray left on the grilled cheese
Thanks for the video
That watermark’s annoying
I'd avoid using a knife to make cuts or holes in the parchment paper, you risk scratching the non stick coating of the air fryer basket. Filling an air fryer basket with oil to deep fry is actually quite dangerous and definitely not recommended, in fact pretty much all manufacturers specifically say NOT to do this in their instruction books.
A cleaning tip is to put some hot water and some washing up liquid/dish soap into the basket but do not go more than about a quarter full and run the air fryer for a couple of minutes. This will help to loosen any stuck or burnt food particles stuck to the basket and crisper tray. Clean the basket and crisper tray as usual in the sink, allow the air fryer to cool until the inside is safe to touch and unplug it. You can then turn the entire machine upside down and use a soft sponge or cloth to carefully clean the fan blades and inside top of the machine as the soap and water will also have helped to loosen any burnt food stuck there. Do not press hard against the fan blades, you don't want to bend them, and then allow the machine to dry completely before using the again.
But the best tip for keeping the basket and crisper trays clean is to buy one where these parts are dishwasher safe, brands such as Ninja and Corsori have many models that are safe in the dishwasher. I do a quick wash up in the sink after every use and then once every couple of weeks the baskets and trays go in the dishwasher for a deeper clean.
If you are using silicone liners buy the ones with the raised ridges in the bottom, these help the hot air to circulate as normal whereas the flat bottomed liners wont.
