I'll keep using my disposable period pads. More comfortable for me. Not changing.
My dear, I recommend you not wearing the metal chain necklace with you pearls necklace, because the metal will ruin your pearls, even though it looks brilliant 😊
Did you just revealed your BF Christmas gift? 😂✌️♥️
So in Portugal at festivals you get cups that have a refundable deposit, you usually pay €1 use it for as long as you need to and then return it and get €1 back. They are washed and reused, you also have the option to keep it and take it to the next festival. We return ours, we don't remember to take them with 🤦♀️
I don't wear makeup, but I have a tween daughter, so I am sure that it's in my future 😂. Nice to know that there are eco options 😊. We use cloth napkins at home, most of them are second hand charity shop finds from well over a decade ago 😊. I love my period cup and will never go back to regular sanitary products 😊. I don't have store bought jars, only the ones that I have bought food in, i use them for lots of things, including refills at a bulk store. I have an elderly cat ❤ and I use paper bags, mostly from baked goods for the disposal of the cat litter. All of the veggie and fruit scraps go into my parents compost bin for the vegetable garden 😊.
I loooved this video !
My top 5 eco swaps of 2024 :
– My Wild deodorant
– My period underwares
– My wooden toothbrush
– My insulated bottle
– My soap box
"We are keeping the coffe consumption to a minimum still. I get my energy from the sheer pure rage of capitalism. "
This hit me so unexpected 😂😂😂❤
My Most used list:
Safety razor
Handkerchief
Natural soap
Shea butter
Jojoba oil
🤍🤍🤍
6:11 I LOVE IT. I have listened 10x 😀 😀
I'd give a shout-out to Wild refillable deodorant and lip balms . . .
love it! could you make a video for gift ideas for xmas or homemade gifts/ ecofriendly ones we can give and make
JARS. This year I started to love cooking and I got a lot of condiments. I keep everything in jars. It's great because they're different sizes and you can swap them if needed. And I got them for free from neighbors and friends. Last yesr I won a reusable Stojo food container in one ecoshop. And I didn't use disposable ones.
I didn't really swaped anything this year. I just tried to not follow the overhyped products and think if I really need it. Also I believe in minimalism and hate clutter. So I try to not buy excessive shit.
I just found your YouTube channel recently and am enjoying very much. I grew up in the early 50's and my parents were extremely economical. Waste not want not mentally. I always revert back to get the most use. Recycle , reuse. Like the old saying….." eat it up, wear it out, make do or do without. "
I'm also using old empty jars for my selfmade jam, containers and bottles I also have for several years are always my go to for taking lunch and water with me when traveling, same thing for cotton towels instead of papertowels at home. 🙂
I recently found these beautiful lace edge detailed handkerchiefs at my local thrift store and I love them. I try and carry one in my pocket everyday.
Top swaps this year:
• Bulk bins for baking essentials and grains
• Josie Maran lotion refills — I am extremely picky with lotion so while I do not love the plastic bag, it helps me reduce the amount of pumps I buy
• Work from home twice a week to keep commuter emissions down (used to be five-day commute)
• Persuaded my mom to use totes at the grocery store in lieu of plastic bags
Funny sustainable makeup packaging story–I bought some lip gloss from a company that put up their stuff in compostable tube type packaging. They not only sent me the lip gloss I ordered, but a trial of something else they sold. I wasn't thinking about where I had them sitting…and my dog that was a puppy at the time, found them and chewed them up! Ooops. But at least I know had she actually swallowed any of it, she probably wouldn't have become sick.
I love my Stojo mug, wich I own for over a year, but now I have bought their collapsible bowl and I LOVE THIS THING
Basically it's just using things like my grandma did she was very frugal
I am love opshopping and try to only swap things if its better fit for purpose
I want to reflect on my kitchen stuff in december. Excited to see what I actually used and what can be donated. Also doing my second no buy lip products year until they are empty. So far I have been successful with it.
