Just curious, buy why is food shopping in the US so expensive? I live in the UK and must admit our prices have gone sky high – but no way near as expensive as the states. In a way I understand why the prices are higher in Alaska (as they need to ship all the products much further away) but as a whole your supermarkets are so expensive compared to ours here in the UK. I live in North Richland Hills a suburb of Fort Worth Texas hope you had fun El Fenix is a great restaurant I grew up eating at a mall in Fort Worth did they went to Grapevine and clothes that one down in the closest one is 30 minutes away from me in Irving Texas but I can't get it delivered how did a Texas girl end up in Alaska

Welcome to Texas
I recently was in the USA and we dont have Aldi or Trader joes either. Except the blessing of being in alaska versus canada… you dont have any dollar limit to bring anything home from stores you go to. I was not impressed with Aldi. I had seen so many videos on it and they had some things, but it was okay. Trader joes I feel like it depends on the location. Ive seen good trader joes and I've been to not so good trader joes.
