A La Sweet has been bringing authentic French desserts to Highland Village for the past three years now. And now they are bringing a touch of class with their Noon High Tea events. Let’s check in with them to see what’s new!

on behalf of the highland village business association and foodie friday diff w today we are at allah suite and the treats here are just that i mean look at this french macaroon hmm i can’t wait to eat it but right now we’re gonna meet chef taylor lee and her partner melissa and we’ll learn more about this amazing restaurant right here in highland village a true classical french pastry shop welcome to foodie party dfw and welcome to allah suite everyone i am so excited to be back here at holla suite with my friend melissa melissa thank you so much for having us over well thank you for joining us we’re so excited that you’re welcome to spend you bet you know we were here almost two and a half years ago when you first opened and this place is still going strong yes through a pandemic we’re actually almost into three years it’ll be that in february and we are just excited that the community is supporting us highland village it’s been wonderful and their support of us and certainly the surrounding cities flower mound highland village louisville copper canyon lantana all of those it’s great you bet well you guys also have a really unique product i mean after all where else can you go for a true classic french gourmet pastry well that’s right the owner and pastry chef is classically trained in new york and paris and was a pastry chef in paris for almost seven years so this stuff is authentic so we of course have a french flair of our french macarons our almond croissants we have french cannellas but we also offer other things such as some madeline’s and we have specials that are always on our special board chocolate lava cake we do have gluten-free and keto items as well and we have grilled ice cream if anyone’s looking for a cold treat absolutely you know the rolled ice cream is one of my favorites but so are those macarons i mean they’re like a whole rainbow of colors and flavors yes yes that’s the most authentic french that we have here is the french macaron and it comes in multiple colors and flavors and they’re just so delightful and we’ve had so many customers that have come in and said i don’t even know if i like them or like you haven’t tried these and so they try them and they’re addicted and so they tell everyone and they’re our biggest testament and so um yeah it’s special and we’re also known for our almond croissants which are mwah exactly and i understand you guys have a special event yes we are now offering to our customers high tea and so it’s a three-course event and we are offering gourmet teas and macarons and almond croissants and finger sandwiches and desserts and it’s such a treat we have the linen tablecloths and all of that so it’s really exciting to see the patrons who come in and it’s friends we’ve had parties of six or more um or even just a mom and daughter it’s just so sweet it’s a sweet event and we’re so excited to be able to just share it with the rest of the community so we have we do take reservations uh to get that set up and right now we’re rolling it out so yeah we’re very excited you should be this is so beautiful i mean one thing about all a suite that i personally love is how classy it is here it feels like you’re home you’re somewhere special and every time i’ve met someone here enjoying something they’ve always seemed really happy yes we um well our mission was to just make a place that was very welcoming and calming where people just feel blessed very good well you and chef taylor have accomplished the mission last question if you could tell 10 thousand people one thing about allah sweet look into the camera what would you say well i’d like to tell everyone to come visit allah suite we welcome you with open arms and open hearts and we want to bless you with this wonderful establishment while you are enjoying some teas and delicious treats like almond croissants and macarons so we welcome you in and i agree with her a thousand percent come and visit all the sweet meet melissa meet chef taylor lee and enjoy a wonderful treat thank you for watching foodie friday and thank you from the highland village business association [Music]
