Although not in Germany the Annecy Christmas markets are superb, with a wonderful Swiss and French twist, mixing the best traditions of this part of France the Haute Savoie and its German speaking neighbour in Switzerland a trip to this beautiful town for its Christmas markets to drink Vin chaud and eat bulles de mousse and bretzels is a must for a less mainstream Christmas market experience.
