All right a little bit of a surprise today this is not your usual 1 hating it video this is what I like to call Dad pizza now you don’t have to be a dad to make this you could be a 20-year-old guy maybe you want to impress your roommates

Or that new girlfriend this is what I like to call kind of a gourmet home pizza so enjoy okay so you’re going to want to take one cup of warm water add a yeast packet and some sugar to it this is going to basically make the yeast for

Adding to your dry ingredients um let it sit for 5 minutes now use a good flour I like to do 2 and 1/2 cups one teaspoon of salt but I kind of go a little heavy you can use regular salt or hey look at this I’m using both regular and pink

Salt now here’s the good ingredients look I like to use a little bit of a like garlic infused olive oil you can use any kind of oil um but throughout this entire recipe you can go stupid cheap but if you use really good ingredients you’re going to get a better

Result obviously you’re going to want 2 tablespoons of this oil okay now your yeast is going to be all foamy it’ll look pretty obvious add it to your dry ingredients and obviously you’re just going to want to kind of mix it up your hands it’s really going to

Stick to your hands but it should start coming off when you start adding like a little bit of flour like I am doing right here um that’ll also help it not stick to the bottom of the pan that’s looking pretty good right now not going

To lie I like to form it in like a little bit of a ball and then let it sit for a bit all right now what you want to to do is you’re going to want to have your counter nice and clean that means you’re going to want to have some old bananas

Like to do that on top of the pepperonis it’s going to melt really nice on there and my grandpa always told me basil in pasta oregano on pizza last thing you’re want to do is you’re going to want to go ahead garlic buttery whatever your crust

  1. I have something to say… I knew this video would fail to get views. The corresponding promotional Short that I uploaded at the same time as this will hit 2000 views before the night is through, while this 8 minute longform will have 20 by the morning… and most of those will be family and friends.

    But this wasn't about views. This video represents the most effort I have put into a project since a limited cut of my movie "Wasted Talent: The Neighbors From Hell!" was shown at a film festival in Buffalo. I have been working my way up towards FINALLY re-launching this channel with a new series… starting with a pilot, and then several good episodes (25-45 minutes long) to get things rolling. This video was essentially a test for me, shaking the rust off and letting my creativity flow… even though it was just a sub-10 minute video about pizza.

    I thank anyone who DOES see this and watched the whole thing. I look forward to putting together that pilot episode soon, and we'll see if we can fire out a couple episodes of "30 And Hating It"!!!
